Midterm Composition Extravaganza!

This assignment is due by the end of the semester (December 6)!

We have approximately NINE days of advisory left this semester. This assignment should take multiple days to complete.

You will compose an assignment on your choice of Soundtrap or Noteflight. See the requirements below before you make your decision!

If you choose to compose using Noteflight:

• The composition should be a minimum of 32 measures.
• You must use at least two instruments
• You must follow one of these forms: Binary (AB), Ternary (ABA), or Rondo (ABACA or ABACABA)
• It does NOT have to be performed! Just make it public with a description, title, and picture.

If you choose to compose using Soundtrap:

• The composition should be a minimum of two minutes long.
• A minimum of four loops must be created BY YOU using the Patterns BeatMaker or Play the Synth options, but any others you add may be premade.
• Make sure you spend some time in the "production" process, adjusting volume, fade ins, fade outs, tempos, etc.
• When you are finished, Save the finished product. Go back to your main Soundtrap page and click the three dots next to your composition. Click "Invite" and invite Ms. Brandt and Mr. M, and any other friends you'd like to invite!

Before you submit your midterm, make sure that you have met ALL of the requirements!! You may need to stay through some lunches if you have not met the requirements.
